Acrylics... "Paint with Susan" mentoring workshop.

Spend three days tapping into the creative experience with artist Susan Kemp and your fellow participants. We paint in the relaxed atmosphere, so it is an opportunity for fun as well as fulfilment.  Six to eight artists can be accommodated, each at their own work station, in the air-conditioned Art-for-All Studio in the lovely village of Storms River in the Tsitsikamma.

Bring your art for constructive criticism and start a new project under the guidance of your tutor, who will guide you with regard to composition, perspective, depth, value, colour, preparation, materials, techniques, etc. Every artist decides what she or he would like to do and we get to tap into the skills and creative energy of everyone. The learning curve in a group situation is dramatic, as we all learn from one another.

Painting, drawing and dream-storming are interspersed with discussions on marketing art, making art prints, and framing. Susan’s demonstrations of life drawing and imaginative or realistic acrylic painting will help to get your ideas going and you can gather inspiration and photos in and around the lovely Storms River.
