About the Event
Have you ever wondered whether you have the talent to draw? You do! If you can tie your shoe laces, you possess sufficient hand-eye coordination to draw - if you also have enough interest and enthusiasm to apply yourself to the task.
This practical drawing course over three days is aimed at developing your life-drawing skills. Drawing exercises and drawing sessions are alternated with discussions of the elements of composition, depth, perspective, and value contrast. The observational skills developed in life drawing are invaluable in all forms of art. A fourth day of figure drawing from life is optional. Students can bring along examples of their work for constructive criticism.
Our air-conditioned studio in the quiant village of Storms River is fully equipped to comfortbly accommodate 6 artists, each at their own work station or easel.
Your course includes: All teas, drinks and lunches at a local bistro (also discounts on any other meals you might have); professional mounting of one of your pieces produced during the course; and post-course handholding.
Accommodation: We can reccomend accommodation options in the village at preferential artist's rates.
