About the Event
Have you ever wondered whether you have the talent to draw? You do! If you can tie your shoe laces, you possess sufficient hand-eye coordination to draw - if you also have enough interest and enthusiasm to apply yourself to the task. We can help you unlock those talents and set you on your way!
Our hands-on, fun but professional courses are specially designed for beginners as well as those with some experience wishing to grow their craft. The air-conditioned Art-for-All Studio in the quiant village of Storms River is fully equipped to comfortably accommodate 6 artists, each at their own work station. Contact us for a list of the materials you must provide... and let us know if we can help
Our practical drawing course over three days is aimed at developing your life-drawing skills. Drawing exercises and drawing sessions are alternated with discussions of the elements of composition, depth, perspective, and value contrast. The observational skills developed in life drawing are invaluable in all forms of art. A fourth day of figure drawing from life is optional. Students can bring along examples of their work for constructive criticism.
THE COURSE INCLUDES All teas, drinks and lunches at a local bistro (also discounts on any other meals you might have); professional mounting of one of your pieces produced during the course; and post-course handholding.
ACCOMMODATION: We can reccomend accommodation options in the village at preferential rates for our students.
